499: Rufus & Chaka Khan - Ask Rufus (1977)

I’m far from an expert on Chaka Khan’s back catalogue; her voice didn’t grace the turntable of my parent’s Hi-Fi – I wish it had. This is a great late-night soul and funk album that conjures sexy 70s vibes. My criticism would be that some songs, while enjoyable, don’t quite hit the mark for me.
